1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using CODUS AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. CODUS AI does not warrant that the service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; that any errors or defects will be corrected; or that the results of using the service will meet your requirements.

3. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CODUS AI, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

4. Prohibited Uses of Generative AI

The following section outlines rules from Google regarding the prohibited uses of their generative artificial intelligence models, which power this Service.

Generative AI models can help you learn, discover, and create. They must be used responsibly, in compliance with laws and safety guidelines. When interacting with generative AI in Google products and services that reference these guidelines, please be aware of the following limitations.

4.1. Dangerous or Illegal Activity

Engaging in dangerous or illegal activity or otherwise violating applicable laws and regulations is prohibited. This includes creating and distributing content that:

  • Involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
  • Promotes extremism or terrorism.
  • Promotes the distribution of materials of a sexual nature without the consent of those present.
  • Promotes self-harm.
  • Promotes illegal activity, such as providing instructions for the manufacture or procurement of illegal or controlled substances, goods, or services.
  • Violates the rights of others (including privacy and intellectual property), for example by using personal data or biometrics without consent required by law.
  • Tracks people's actions without their consent.
  • Without human oversight, it makes automated decisions that have significant negative consequences for the rights of individuals in high-risk areas such as employment, healthcare, economics, law, residential real estate, insurance, and social security.

4.2. Security Threats

Activities that threaten the security of others or Google services are prohibited. This includes creating and distributing content that promotes:

  • Phishing, distribution of spam or malware.
  • Abuse, damage, or interfere with the operation of Google's or other parties' infrastructure or services.
  • Bypassing security filters and anti-abuse measures, such as manipulating the model to violate our rules.

4.3. Hate Speech, Violence, and Explicit Content

Displays of hatred and participation in violent, dangerous, or sexually explicit behavior are prohibited. This includes the creation and distribution of content that:

  • Promotes incitement to hatred or the dissemination of discriminatory speech.
  • Encourages harassment, bullying, threats, or insults against others.
  • Promotes or incites violence.
  • Promotes content of a sexual nature, such as pornographic materials or materials created for sexual gratification.

4.4. Disinformation and Misrepresentation

Disinformation, distortion of facts, and misleading information are prohibited. Such activities include:

  • Fraud and other deceptive activities.
  • Impersonation of another private person (living or dead) without clear indication of this, with the intent to deceive.
  • Promoting the use of false claims of qualifications in sensitive areas such as health, economics, law or public services with the intent to deceive.
  • Promoting the dissemination of false statements concerning government or democratic processes or dangerous medical treatments with the intent to deceive.
  • False claims that generated content was created solely by humans, with the intent to deceive.
